IF YOU HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR A 2004 DETROIT MUSIC AWARD
The Detroit Music Awards show will be held Friday, April 23, 2004 at the State Theatre in Detroit. Nominees are invited to be our guests for the evening.
The Pre-Awards show/party begins at 5:00 pm, and the Main Awards show begins at 7:00 pm. The majority of awards categories are presented at the pre-show, so please arrive early.
As in any major event, we need to know who will be attending. Please follow the steps below so that we may accommodate you.
- Please go to the Detroit Music Awards website (http://www.detroitmusicawards.com) and click on the 2004 Nominees link at the top of the page to find the particular Field and Category for your nomination.
- If you are nominated as an individual and NOT included as part of a nominated band or group, you are entitled to reserve a ticket for yourself and 1 guest. If you are also a member of a nominated group, you are NOT entitled to a complimentary ticket as an individual nominee.
- If your band or group is nominated, only band members are entitled to a complimentary ticket. If you wish to purchase a ticket for a guest you MUST contact Derek at the State Theatre by calling 313961-5451, ext. 14.
- Complimentary tickets are NOT located on the main floor of the State Theatre. You may purchase tables on the main floor on a first come first serve basis, and are for sale by contacting Linda Lexy at 248-762-7003. Prices for tables are $1000, $200 and $100.
- If you wish to attend the show, please RSVP by emailing by April 22, 2004. Include: Individual name (and guest name, if applicable) and Band name and complete list of band members to attend.
- If you do not respond to this email, we cannot guarantee that a complimentary ticket(s) will be available for you.
- You must arrive by 8:00 PM or your complimentary tickets could be returned for sale to the general public. If you, your guest or someone in your band cannot arrive by 8:00 PM, please mention this in your RSVP email or call Terri Koggenhop at 248-360-2455.
There are over 600 nominees for this year's Awards, so as you can imagine it is quite difficult to accommodate those who do not RSVP for the show.
DEADLINE FOR RSVP: APRIL 22, 2004
There will be a table in the State Theatre inner lobby where you may place Merchandise for sale. Each nominee is allowed 5 CD's and one t shirt on the table, (additional merchandise may be stored below the table).
